Farm Workshop: The purpose of the field workshop class is to understand how all four-ecosystem process work and how they interface with the soil. The soil is the foundation resource. The shovel and infiltration ring will be used to determine the indicators of soil function. Farmers, grazers, and agriculturists will learn critical skills of observation, interpretation, and understanding of soil function which will help reduce the need of costly chemical and physical inputs. They will also learn how to celebrate their soils, learn the Haney Soil test, and design a basic cover crop mix.

Please note - a limited number of tickets are available. You may pay at the SWCD office or online to attend this event.
